Who we are
Able2Love is a dating app for disabled and non-disabled people who are open to dating one another, operated by Brogan Fox (Greater Manchester, UK). For any privacy question, contact abletoloveapp@gmail.com.
What we collect
Depending on how you use Able2Love, we may process:
- Account and profile details you choose to provide: name or display name, age, photos, bio, preferences, and any access needs or disability information you decide to add.
- Approximate location, used to show nearby people and accessible venues. On the map, locations are deliberately fuzzed (to roughly 100m) so an exact address is never shared.
- Messages and activity within the app (matches, chats, reports).
- Device and usage data needed to run the service and keep it secure.
- Messages you send us on social media, if you contact our accounts. These may be answered by an automated assistant that hands anything sensitive to a human.
Sensitive information
Any disability or health information you add is optional and shared only because you choose to. You control what appears on your profile and can change or remove it at any time.
How we use it
- To provide the app: create your profile, show matches and nearby people, enable messaging.
- To keep people safe: prevent abuse, handle reports, and enforce our terms.
- To answer your questions and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run Able2Love, such as app distribution (Google Play), hosting, and the providers that power our messaging assistant. They process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correct it, delete it, or object to certain processing. To do any of these, or to delete your account, contact abletoloveapp@gmail.com.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for safety, legal, or record-keeping reasons, then delete it.
Age
Able2Love is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
